About Classic Car Ownership Notes

Classic Car Ownership Notes is an independently operated information site about collector cars. It explains how provenance is documented, which costs of keeping a car can be separated on paper, and how a repair decision differs from a decision to leave material in place. The public name does not include the letters of the domain.

This site is not a fund, a manager or an investment adviser. It does not take money, it does not offer an interest in a vehicle or a pool of vehicles for sale, and it does not promise a financial result. Nothing on this site is investment, financial, legal or tax advice.

Between about 2011 and 2015 this domain hosted the website of IGA Automobile LP, a classic-car investment fund. Later the domain was used by unrelated websites. This site is not that fund and is not affiliated with its managers, team members or participants. Those names appear only as historical facts. Old pages are not restored here, and this site does not summarise old offering terms.

The published name, the choice to keep a domain-history section and an automotive-history section unpublished until a later review, and the choice not to write a fund-performance article, follow the written plan defaults of 14 October 2026. The person responsible for those decisions has not issued a later instruction.

Pages cite the sources they use and the date those pages were read. A museum storage note or a registration rule from one country is not a rule for every garage or every register. If a page is wrong, use the Contact page and name the address of the page.
